UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Google Image Search in ASCIIA neat little tool that takes whatever search term you put into the box, sends it through a Google Images search, takes the first image that gets returned, and turns it into ASCII art. So compare, and contrast (that picture is my father-in-law holding my two daughters). 5 CommentsNameless One said on 08/20/04 @ 04:00 PM:That's not ascii art, that is just HTML color effects applied to each character in a grid of arbitrary characters, in this case the arbitrary characters are the search query repeated a bunch. So, for instance, it would look like BS in lynx.
