Do We Need to Deep Six The Mac?
An interesting proposal. There are some great arguments here, and I for one would love to see OSX running on a PC, or the ability to run another OS on Mac parts. Link from Ken.

Jesse Thompson said on 08/17/04 @ 12:16 AM: I for one agree that Apple's strategy of owning the entire vertical market by way of their computers (hardware, software, os, and accessories) has spectacularily failed. Also, in the meantime, they have made some very interesting hardware, software, accessories, and an interesting os.. so if they let those nuggets stir in the same melting pot as the rest of the wide woild, they may become potent once more. It's almost like trying to imagine if AOL had refused to make their network interoperate with the broad internet..

What are you doing down here? Don't you have something better to do? Like Go Back To The Top of the page, or even see who created this site? This site is © 2001 - 2012 by the Utterly Boring folks at UtterlyBoring.com. Steal my content, as I probably did, too, just link to my site or the original site. Batteries not included. One size fits all. Not for off-road use. Not for internal use. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
