And You Thought Your Day Sucked?
A Bend man has his car stolen, and then the crook abandons the car on some railroad tracks. I'm sure you know the rest of the story. Too bad there aren't pictures of the wreckage...Barney? Barney got some pictures posted with the story. That truck is seriously messed up.

Rick said on 08/04/04 @ 03:50 PM: A couple of typos/spelling mistakes perhaps?
“It was hit by a train going 45 mph. We didn’t even recognize it,” Fisher said. “The right front tire was torn off, the whole front end was smashed in, the beck was twisting like a twisty-tie. It wasn’t drug. It was thrown. There were parts strung for a while. It was 40 feet off the railroad tracks.”
Fisher, who just got talking to the insurance agent, said the important thing was that nobody was hurt, but still…
I am by no means an expert on the English language, but I just thought I'd point it out so that they could be fixed. (assuming they are wrong)
Jake said on 08/04/04 @ 03:58 PM: Forwared the corrections to the reporter. Thanks, Rick!
Barney said on 08/04/04 @ 10:49 PM: Reporter has made the corrections. Was up too late last night writing, about our sheriff, and I said he warned deputies that if they chat, they're fired. (One lousy stinkin' little e missing, and it changes the whole durn meaning;-)
What he said... thanks, Rick;-)
