UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Another Late NightI get to spend the evening at work again tonight. One of the hard drives in my Citrix machine's RAID array is toast, and I need to replace it (as it's a RAID 1 array, so it's down to one drive). Since it was an older system, it was cheaper for me to buy two new, bigger, faster drives instead of replacing the one that was dead in there, so I've got a pile of imaging, partitioning, and upgrading to deal with tonight. 1 CommentJesse Thompson said on 06/12/04 @ 10:51 AM:I used to be a smartass and throw in one drive, let it rebuild, and throw in the other drive, let it rebuild :) but that might of only worked because I had a drive with the same specs.
